Cravings and Aversions

So anyone that knows me, knows that I enjoy food. All types, and will try pretty much anything. However I try not to go overboard all the time, and I still eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and what not. Lately, I have been craving strange stuff. All last week I made huge meals, like Lasagna, and Mexican Chicken Casserole, Tacos, etc. I honestly think that had a little to do with missing my family, that's all the stuff my Mom made that were my faves growing up. Then, I wanted fried green tomatoes, and stewed okra. Mind you I still do, 'cause no place around here serves that. So Mom, if you could send Dad this way, I'd greatly appreciate it. Fortunately I haven't wanted anything strange like pickles and cotton candy together, but there have been some random choices. Yesterday, I wanted Easy-Mac! I haven't eaten boxed macaroni and cheese in forever. But I got it and it was soooo good. Then for breakfast all I could think about was Cookie Crisp cereal! Uh not healthy, even if it is a part of this complete breakfast. I am obsessed with cucumbers, and have been dreaming about steamed broccoli and asparagus, so I guess that makes up for the kiddie cereal. Now on to the aversions. Ice cream? Who in the world doesn't like ice cream? I have a pint of Bluebell "Great Divide" sitting in my freezer that hasn't been touched, it just doesn't appeal to me. Snickers bars don't do it for me any more either, the nougat, eck. And that's my all time favorite candy bar. Salad dressing grosses me out a little too unless it's Italian. Anywho, I thought it would be fun to share what I am obsessing about and totally grossed out by. Enjoy some ice cream and a snickers for me.
