Deja Vu

Time is flying by! Everyday Micah reminds me of Owen as a baby, mainly in appearance but quirky little behaviors too.  They both had this funny little stretch when they first wake up that involved arching of the back, puckering the lips, and sticking up their bottom. Whenever it is time for a diaper change, cue pedaling the invisible bicycle,  it keeps diaper changes interesting that's for sure!

Can you tell who's who?

Micah has definitely managed the whole bedtime routine much quicker than Owen did, and I am thankful.   I know you're not supposed to compare your kids, but one can't help but notice the similarities and  differences. Fortunately for me, they're equally adorable.  

One big difference, is that I was just taking some undergrad courses when I had Owen and got to spend the whole summer with him before heading back to school.  With Micah, I got a whole four days. Technically it's my own fault, I could have taken a leave of absence, but I was still high off of labor and delivery adrenaline. Besides, how laclkluster would my life be if I didn't throw some chaos into it. What a boring blog this would be! ;)

I was also much better with my fitness routine and routines in general with Owen, I have to confess, I have been mediocre at best when it comes to working out and getting my body "back to good".  I'd also like to point out that I did not look like Wolverine attacked me, just a tad too many stretch marks for my liking this time around.  In due time I'll get it together, but for now I'm enjoying dishing out snuggles and cuddles times two.

There's been a lot going on since my last post and I'm working on getting everything updated and downloading pictures. "See" y'all again soon!
