How many of you know that's the theme song for the Globetrotters?

Owen and I attended our first Globetrotters game! (Dave went when he was in elementary school) I was so excited!!! I have always wanted to see a game. I mean if you are drawn into Scooby Doo cartoons, you have to be the real deal!!




One of Dave's college buddies got us tickets. I wasn't sure how Owen was going to respond. He doesn't sit and watch like he used to, he is such a busy body, unless he's sleeping. He fell asleep on the way to the arena, so he was pretty mellow in the beginning. Then once the Globetrotters came out, he was cheering, and clapping!


He watched a good 10 minutes before he lost interest, or rather became more interested in the hair of the little boy sitting in front of us. We passed him off to our friend for awhile and then he fell asleep for the last quarter of the game.



I had so much fun, I want Owen to be a Globetrotter, but there is a lot of dancing and basketball skills involved, both of which I am not good at, (neither is Dave, but don't tell him I said that). So maybe he can be manager.
