There's a monster at the end of this blog!

How many of you remember the book There's a Monster at the End of this Book? It's the one with Grover from Sesame Street, and every page he tries to stop you from turning the next page. Anywho, it was one of my favorites when I was little, and I couldn't resist playing off of it for my blog title.

Now back to business. Owen's first Halloween. I had a lot of ideas for Owen's costume, I thought sumo wrestler, hippo, frog. Well, I found a really cute tree frog costume online and thought that would be appropriate since Owen's favorite past time is bouncing and jumping. Wouldn't you know it, the costume didn't make it on time. David and I had to run all over town on Friday trying to scavenge a costume for little man. Thank goodness we found one, it was the last one left on the rack, but it was 1/2 off of 1/2 off so we got it for $6. Not too shabby!

So we got Owen all dressed up and started taking pictures. We headed over to a friends house and went trick or treating. He lasted all of 10 minutes before he was fast asleep in his stroller. Pretty exciting first Halloween, at least I got a couple of Kit-Kats out of the deal.

On his way to destroy villages and other monster stuff!

"This does not taste like candy!"

Being a monster is hard work.
