Happy Birthday David!

So, David turned the big 29 on Thursday, which also happens to be the day I was officially 28 weeks, and in the 3rd trimester. I wish I could say that I took him to a fancy dinner and what not, but we stayed home like hermits. Partially because he was recovering from the flu, I had a ton of homework, and because there isn't really a whole lot to do here. I did however make some yummy red velvet cupcakes on Saturday, and I tried to sing to him, but he was laughing way to hard. I guess me singing in a sexy Marilyn Monroe voice with a bouncing belly, was hilarious or something. He obviously doesn't appreciate good talent!

On a side note, the picture above is David trying on his Baby Bjorn. My mother got that for him, it's technically for the baby shower,(she is shipping all her purchases bit by bit) but I told Dave that was his birthday present. He was super eager to try it on. Much to my dismay, he started snapping things and strapping things without even glancing at the instructions. (I'm supposed to let him carry an infant around, and he won't even read the directions!) Anywho, after I helped him correctly assemble the carrier, he was kind enough to pose for this picture. He was so excited!

Ok, back to his birthday. It's really funny that this time last year I asked him what all he wanted to accomplish while he was 28. He responded that he wanted to move up in his job, start a family, (which I promptly told him was not going to happen) and potentially move to Georgia.

So.. I guess 2 outta 3 ain't bad. It's just funny how God works, I was so not planning on having a kid, and I remember David and I discussing how impractical it would be to have one before 2010.

Needless to say, I didn't ask him what he wanted to accomplish this year. Happy Birthday David, I love you and I look forward to many more birthdays together.
