We still need to put some decorations on the walls, find curtains for the window, get a cover for the recliner, find a cute chest or bookshelf, and finish painting the doors. Not too much, but finding the time lately has been super tough. It doesn't help that I have been extremely picky with everything. I hadn't decided on a crib until late February, when I found the one we currently have. It was the same with the bedding, I had an idea in my head, and I would not be satisfied until I found it, and for a reasonable price.
I am very pleased with everything so far. The one perk to this quaint old house we're in, is the "desk" turned out to be a perfect changing station. One less piece of furniture we have to buy. I don't know if you can see it very well, but only munchkins from Oz would be able to sit at that thing.
On a side note, David was very helpful painting the nursery, and pulled a couple of late nighters with me getting it ready. However, Dave doesn't function oh so well when he's tired or gets in a hurry. ( please see blog titled "National Lampoon's Moving") Yes, he kicked over the can of paint, smack dab in the middle of the room, on to my freshly steam cleaned carpet. Surprisingly, it cleaned up pretty well!
I'll update as we continue to make progress. The walls are are a butter cream color even though they look blue in some of the pics. (I need a new camera something terrible)
My amazing Jeep jogging stroller!
Zheke thinks, I only get the camera out for him!

I love the baby bedding and the crib! Great taste. I cannot BELIEVE he kicked over the paint!! I am so glad for you (and him) that it came up.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the puppy pictures. Of course they must inspect everything for the baby. :o)
