20 weeks, halfway there!

"and let us run with patience the race that is set before us..." Hebrews 12:1

So.... I have been somewhat impatient with this whole pregnancy process, and I'll catch myself saying things like, "I can't wait for this to be over" , "I just want to hold the kid now!" and then I came across this verse.

So patience has never been my strong point, so I knew that 9 months was going to be work. However, I am proud to say, that I am halfway there! 5 months, can you believe it? I can't, and I finally have a belly to show for it too!

Along with being 20 weeks, its time for the anatomical ultrasound. Wouldn't you know it, my child would not cooperate, so Dave and I were sent home with pictures of the back of my baby. (mostly booty pics) The kid was seriously practicing its gymnastic routine or something. I hope that's not a sign of whats to come. Oh, and if you're scrolling ahead in hopes of discovering the sex of the baby, forget it! We're not finding out, until delivery. ( Say what you want! we're not going to find out) I did almost give in though, and Dave almost gave in as well, but we were strong, and our tech hid all signs of baby private parts from us.

Everything on the ultrasound came out good and baby is healthy! I unfortunately can not for the life of me upload the dvd of the ultrasound. It's hilarious, every time the tech would try and snap a pic of a body part the kid moved.

So that's really all that's been going on. I can feel the baby kicking/punching/diving, it's such a funny feeling. It's kinda like gas, but more pleasant, it reminds me of butterflies, like when you're really nervous, or that guy you had a crush on finally talks to you.
